Tuesday, February 17, 2009 To Bukom
Finally, Im blogging about one of the most enjoyable moments I had with my girlfriends at errrr, Pulau Bukom. Hahaha... yes yes, you may be wondering what on earth I was doing there. ( Do I work for Shell? Nope! ) Yam's family was spending their Chinese New Year hols at the apartment chalets there and we joined in! Apparently, this place is prepared for the staff of Shell, lest they need to sleepover etc. Every now and then,we would hear Yam telling us about this yearly stay she and her family makes. Now, I know what she is talking about. It was a short ride out from Pasir Panjang Ferry Terminal ( I think ) but my goodness, the sea was indeed rough. I was almost sea sick from the short trip. Heh, pathetic. The day was well spent catching up and basking under the sun ( and moon ). At night, we played card games like silly girls who did not play enough during their childhood.  We just arrived... yee haaa.....  Aha, thats me,feeling so at home surrounded by water. Yuhana and her lotion... buang masa... enjoying the view is much better. Aiya... this Shikin... vogue la tu... One group pic before we get ourselves wet! Oh yes, how the smiles cover up how COLD we were. The wind was cruel, I tell you. Nice pic... sorry Yu, you were moving, I guess. Whats this?? Go figure! Before we went running off to our rooms for Maghrib. Food is always great after a swim. Yam's mum dumped so much rice on my plate but I didnt complain. The asam pedas was power la! Trios... We decided to tempt the lil boy with the delicacy in that bottle.( K, for the record, it wasnt wine or anything.. simply grape juice! )  Yam + Aisha + Muah These girls are scary! They take 'Old Maid' so seriously. Gawd. Guess, you lost this round, Yu! Its alright, you are still a HOT old maid.I enjoyed myself tremendously. It was great fun! Thanks a bunch to Yam and her family for inviting us over. And yes, babes, till we meet again, soon! :)
