If everyone else in the world does not agree with you, do you back down and relent or do you stick to your beliefs?

I am disappointed with myself. I took the easy way out instead of staying true to myself. I guess I am not that strong after all. I did what was convenient instead of what I had to.
So, I deserve the scolding I received from my mother. In fact, I think I needed it. As usual, she will wake me up and bring me to my senses. That even if everyone else disagrees, you do what you have to do and you carry out your responsibilities.
I am a pathetic little cow. Hah.
