Friday, October 31, 2008 Passports pleaseee...
Funny how Sundays are usually my hectic days when most people do not work. Last Sunday was no different. Shuffled between places from early morning to about 2pm for classes and by 3pm, I was at Bugis, waiting for my sister and girlfriends... because.... we were going to Johor Bahru!!!! Taufiq's invitation to his place was warmly received ( sampai budak 2 yang tak tau malu ni mintak duit raya ). Hahaha.... It was so impromptu, only the girls would understand. Enough said!
Needless to say, it was a long journey... Not advisable for those with motion sickness. My heart went out to the cab driver who was stuck with us for about 2 hours hearing us girls spouting more than often, nonsense. Hah. Anyways, part of the time we were like, "Macam ni lah, si Taufiq kluar masuk hari-hari". Hmmmmm....... tak penat ke? Yang kita 4 orang, sampai ada muntah2. Useless bums! Heee..... And of course, the day would never be perfect without... yep, you guessed it, pix-galore!! ---------------------------------------------------- @ MUTIARA RINI - JALAN UTAMA 30 (the address is still drilled into my head lest I forget it.can only depend on myself as the others are nut-cases when it comes to directions.No kidding!)  The first shot... Smile, everyone!! Padahal, semua da lapar. Hahahahahaahha!!! Ok, masih senonoh lagi... Haiz, if I have this at home, wudnt that be nice?! Ok, da start tunjuk tembelang... These windows remind me of the museums. I have no idea why.... Aint we adorable... kwa kwa kwa Picture courtesy of Sakina, Taufiq's lil sis, who is amazingly gifted in taking beautiful pictures! Spot the little limelight here... Clue : look in between Mezza and Sulina. When someone says, "K, pose!", you stop right in your tracks and smile..even though maybe, you were never meant to be in the picture ( like me ).  With Sakinah.. The girls went " Suruh your brother belikan camera! ". A'right, we took a break... Had our HUGE meal. Macam2 ada... chicken rice, prawns,bee hoon, tea, cheesecake... and quoted from Mezzie,"Thanksgiving Chicken". Da kenyang.... Mezzie and Jazzy OK, sambung balik... da makan, ada banyak energy... Whatever goes huh..... Shifted from the greenery to the browns... They make me cranky. Taufiq said, "Tengok my kebun" His sister said, "Ibu punya la!" We said, "Lets take pictures!" And the bald man decided to join in.... Oh, if you are wondering, we are about to jump.... Ok, taking positions for the HIGH LEAP.. And off they go!!-------------------------------------------------- I just want to say thank you to the girls for actually making the trip down. Hahaha... Love them! And of course, thanks a million to Taufiq and his family for having us over. Esp his lil sis (yang layankan kita amik gambar banyak2) The journey back home wasnt that long since we took the bus and wasnt caught amongst the cars in the traffic jam. We had a mission, had to courier Jaz home by 9 pm, and we did it!!! OK girls, Amazing Race next?
