Some of you may be aware that the local malay radio stations have this 'ghostly tales' segment where callers will recount their encounters with erm... ghosts. My dad is a great fan.
Anyway, I was in a cab one night and the driver was listening to one of these segments. I was engrossed with my phone replying smses when he suddenly asked in malay, " Do you believe all these stories? " I told him, " Hmm, not all. It depends. "
Then he started telling me a story which a guy just told over the air. The guy was at Pasir Ris Beach one late night when he and his friends spotted a young woman coming out from the water. They continued to watch her and to their horror, she started climbing one of the trees as fast as a cat! " Isnt that scary? " commented the cabbie.
"Oh, tu Cat Woman, cik..."
