 Love tells me Im everything
Within the two, my life flows...

           her journey
           her love
           her other voices

Every Thursdays, I will religiously follow the show 'The Contender'. I remember watching snippets of it with my bro on cable tv but ever since it was aired on Channel 5, I've been following it from the 1st episode. Maybe because its rare to have an all-guys show. At times, I do wonder why on earth anyone would engage in Muay Thai, having their bodies go through the kind of pain and hurt each time they get into the ring. Gee. Its just so hmmm, brutal?
I had the opportunity to take a walk in the city tonight. Its one of my favourite things to do. Especially around Raffles-City Hall area. The night was breezy. Just perfect. Anyways, I passed through the Esplanade and along the way, I could hear the songs of the National Day Parade being played. I cant believe that it has been exactly a year since I would passionately watch the fireworks every Saturday night during the parade's rehearsals and previews. Like a small kid eager to watch the sky lighted up with blasting designs and colours.

Which brings me of course, to my birthday.. Im turning 24 this coming August. Yes, age is creeping up on me. At this phase of my life, I cant wait to see how things will turn out and what the future holds for me ( which ironically depends on what I am doing today ). Last year, by far was the worst birthday year ever. Not because I didnt have a wonderful day. In fact, I had the 'princess treatment' which sends me butterflies to the stomach till today. ( To you, love love. ) But those days and weeks leading up to it were my worst time ever. I mean that. I guess only God knows how stressful and maddening it was for me. To date, I dont think I have ever cried as much before in my entire life than in that whole month. All in August 2007.

Let bygones be bygones. Its not about the celebration. Those days are over. All I ask for is a peaceful and happy period of time for myself. :) Amin.

Anyway, here is a tip to win badminton matches especially if you have not played for eons; have the shuttlecock on your head before you start.
 Give it a try.
