Latest news : Benazir Bhutto killed in a gun and suicide attack in Rawalpindi.
I think its shocking tho many said that it was a tragedy waiting to happen. I heard it first on the way back home when my dad picked me up from the news on radio and could not believe
it till later into the night when I tuned in to Channel news Asia and remained glue till about 1 am.
Im not a big political fan. Far from it. So its surprising to myself that I am rather keen on the actual event. Perhaps its due to the reason that she is or should i say was, one of the few major female political players in the world? Or is it because this is the one assassination which is happening at the present moment of my life? I mean, I have heard of such tragedies before but through history books. Its so surreal. Esp after that many terrorism movies I have been watching such as Rendition & The Kingdom.
Well, this terrorism act is truly shallow.
