I was by the front entrance of the centre talking to someone outside when I heard Cristy calling my name out loud. I rushed into the back classroom and saw her trying to move 2 HUGE tables on her own. Apparently she was trying to open the divider and it knocked down the 2 tables. So I took her place holding the tables while she went to the other side of the divider and pushed open the divider.
Then suddenly, I heard she screamed so loudly that my body shook. I could not see what happened as she was blocked by the divider. " Are you ok? " I shouted back. To my horror, she replied, " My hand is stuck in between the divider! ". My first instinct was definitely to run over to her side to help her but the 2 tables in my hands were an obstruction. Coz they are really huge and they could easily fall on me instead. But her screams got louder so I just threw the tables on the side with all the force I had, not caring if I had broken them.

I ran to her and Ya Allah! A part of her right palm was stuck in between the divider. The only way to get it out was to push back the divider from behind. So there I went running back to my original position pushing it backwards.

She managed to pull it out. By then blood was already trickling down the wooden divider and the skin of her palm was like clumped together like someone had torched them. I freaked out when I saw the blood. She was already tearing by then. I could only imagine the pain. She could not say anything else as the pain was horrible so I rushed her to the nearest doctor ( Malay clinic ) and had to make a scene before they sent her in to see the doctor.

What the heck? Its an emergency and the way they reacted appalled me. Thank goodness it was only a superficial injury. Just that the skin of her palm was really in a bad condition. As for the pain, she had to tolerate it taking painkillers. Seriously, when I saw her hand, I can only imagine the pain she was in.
Anyways, im the last person you would wanna be with in an emergency. I should take first aid courses.
