And Mother has turned a year older now.. the customary cake cutting ceremony with showers of prezies took place.. and tadaaa... my sis decided to turn up with a big ribbon on her head.. CHECK IT OUT!
All's not end yet as the eating frenzy did not turn out as planned on Sunday due to Mother's tummy pain.. Another family custom where 2 birthdays are celebrated! Soon soon..
In the day today, after a discussion about some work matters with Dear, he asked me.." So you ready for a surprise? ". I gave him a frown saying, " What more bad news you have? ". Yeah, thats how sceptical i've become.. haha. He took out an envelope and WA-LLA!! A spa voucher was inside! " Make your booking now for the 9th. A pre - bday gift" he said. I was stunned.. The next thing I did was to jump out of my seat and shrieked out loud. I cant help it! Cristina was shocked till she turned her head to watch me.. One thing I cant figure out was the date stamped on the voucher was 8th June 07. That was when i was sitting for my papers. I cant believe he had it with him all along! Thanks Dear! Seriously, just what i need...!
And heck yeah, my appointment's all set! Wuhoooooooo.....................
