Sunday, June 24, 2007 Our very own Doa Selamat!

Im so so tired.. from morning, i was busy with helping my mum with the cooking for the evening event, buying stuff for the centre and doing random errands..But if i had to do it again, i wun mind.. coz everything went well.. haha..

Despite our very apparent inexperiences as hosts for such events.. luckily we had our families for help.. simple things like preparing drinks for the ustadz had to be told.. hahahhaa!! worse still..no tray! so? we made our own.. Saedah style.. kekeke... and at times we didnt even know who to attend to etc etc..thank goodness my parents were there to help out.. from talking to the pakcik pakcik masjid ( introduced by my dad ) to serving the guests.. Muhd actually laughed out loud when one of them banged their heads on the glass door. Muhd!!! But actually ya la, it was kinda cute.. Food? Nothing fancy.. everything was home cooked from Mdm Salbiah's and Mdm Jameela's kitchen.. And crap! I forgot..totally about snapping pix.. Was so nervous abt the whole thing.. Haiya! Only have those taken before the actual event.. hmm but Muhd took some.. hopefully, he's got better ones than mine. There was one thing tho which i almost wanted to murder and that was the aircon!!! You made my guests perspire!!! How dare you!! Robin aka Lim Joo Kim, get it fixed!!

Im really happy that all our family members were able to make it.. its the very first time they all got together.. and best of all to give us that support and keep us in their prayers..

It wasnt the perfect event held by the very inexperienced youngsters.. but oh well, it went fine.. for the whole month which was full of thorns rather than bed of roses, it was a mini break.. this time with blessings from our loved ones..

Mum n dad.. seriously.. thank you for everything.. oh not to mention my sis, she stuck by me duin whatever she could.. every single thing is appreciated ok sista! :)

Im too exhausted to load any pix now.. will do it another time. Tmr is another long day for us.. We gotta be down at Gombak. Selamat Malam semua! .. oh yes, Mr Taufiq, yr Malay was horrendous! =)
